Q: Can LED grow lights be used to grow a wide variety of plants?
A: Absolutely. LED grow lights produce a wonderful spectrum of light perfectly suited for indoor gardening of a tremendous variety of flora through from seed to flower.

Q: Are LED grow lights energy efficient?
A: LED Lighting is famous for its energy efficiency—throughout their various size and power ranges, LED grow lights draw significantly less power and are less expensive to operate relative to traditional radiant ballast based systems that could be used to illuminate the same area.

Q: What spectrum of light do LED grow lights produce?
A: A balanced blue/red suitable for seed to flower, covering ranges from 450-470nm and 630-660nm—very similar to a hybridized HPS / Halide crossover.

Q: Do LED grow lights require a special ballast system to operate?
A: Nope! LED Lighting is space and heat efficient as well as economical—no additional ballasting or converters are necessary.

Q: Do LED grow lights need a reflector setup to function well?
A: Again, thankfully no. LED grow light systems work very well without the need for external reflector arrays.

Q: How often will I need to replace LEDs? Do the ‘bulbs’ burn out?
A: Average lifecycles of the LEDs used in our LED grow lights are 50,000 hours, which is about 11 years of life when used as recommended—meaning not replacing the LEDs often at all, if ever.

Q: What level of heat does a LED grow light emit when operating?
A: Very little at all. In fact, LEDs in our LED Grow Lighting systems will not shatter if operating and exposed to moisture, nor do they emit a high-profile heat signature—they’re even cool to the touch!

Q: Can I use any method of indoor growing with LED grow lights?
A: Of course! LED Grow Lighting systems can be used in lieu of traditional ballast based MH / HPS setups in an indoor aeroponic, hydroponic, gel, or soil based garden with results just as strong and at a fraction of the energy and setup costs.
